NVIDIA Broadcast 3 update — eye contact mode finally usable
Latency dropped to sub-30ms, accuracy is dramatically better, and the new Studio Voice profile preset is the surprise win.
NVIDIA Broadcast 3 shipped this week with the Eye Contact mode finally crossing into usable territory. Latency dropped from 78ms to sub-30ms, accuracy in low-light scenarios is dramatically better, and the head-tilt detection no longer breaks the effect at angles past 25 degrees.
The Studio Voice profile preset is the surprise win. It applies a broadcast-grade compression and EQ chain in real time at minimal CPU cost. For streamers running an entry-level USB mic, Studio Voice does roughly $200 worth of audio processing for free, and it pairs cleanly with the existing noise removal stack.
