Monster Hunter Wilds shipped 18M units in the launch window, doubling Capcom internal forecast. The Western audience expansion is finally permanent.

Monster Hunter Wilds shipped 18M units sell-through in the launch window, doubling Capcom internal forecast and well ahead of sell-side consensus at 12M. The structural story is the Western audience expansion — North America and Europe combined accounted for 56% of unit sales, the highest non-Japan share for any Monster Hunter title ever.

Capcom raised full-year guidance on the back of the Wilds outperformance. The next test is post-launch DLC attach rate and the title role-out cadence — World had 10M+ DLC attach by year three, which is the comp Capcom is gunning for.
