The Esports World Cup 2026 added nine new organizations to the Club Partner Program: 9z Team, Alpha7 Esports, Fluxo W7M, plus six others split across NA, LATAM, MENA and APAC. Total annual subsidy across all partner clubs now crosses $300M for the year.
Saudi PIF money is the only meaningful new capital flowing in esports, going into franchise stability rather than league building. The longer-term question is whether this distorts player labor markets — the LCK and LEC dynamics will look very different two seasons from now.
